Now that he is running for president with a very real shot at winning, many of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s colleagues and longtime friends are turning on him.
An environmentalist who is still teachable and able to learn from the error of his past ways, Kennedy is a threat to Big Environmentalism, which is pushing dangerous conspiracy theory nonsense like man-made climate change and so-called “green” energy.
Kennedy is also a threat to Big Pharma as he spills the tea about the dangers of vaccines. This position especially is triggering folks like Gina McCarthy, a former administrator of the EPA under President Obama, who blasted Kennedy for no longer making any sense of her feeble understanding of the world.
“If folks remember him as an environmentalist, he is no more,” McCarthy said disrespectfully, failing to recognize that Kennedy’s environmentalist positions have merely evolved to reflect the latest revelations about the chemical-industrial complex that were once hidden.
“He’s against science. He’s against vaccines. He talks jibber jabber on climate. I don’t even know what he stands for.”
(Related: Last fall, Kennedy blasted Biden while promising to “end the corrupt merger of state and corporate power,” also known as fascism.)
The reason McCarthy can no longer comprehend what Kennedy stands for is more a testament to her lack of comprehension, not his. And yet she is hardly alone in adopting such a position.
“The Bobby I knew is gone,” lamented Dan Reicher, a senior researcher at Stanford University‘s Woods Institute for Environment.
While Kennedy still says he believes that carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane are “warming” the planet, he does not agree with the far-left position that we must wage a war on carbon in response.
“This crisis is being used as a pretext for clamping down totalitarian controls,” Kennedy said in a video post about the true impetus behind the war on carbon.
Bad actors in elite clubs like the World Economic Forum (WEF) are the driving force behind that tyranny, Kennedy also now recognizes. And yet Kennedy still supports reasonable environmental controls to conserve and preserve our precious natural resources.
This common-sense thought process used to be more conventional, but nowadays politicians are too busy drawing up foreign aid packages for Ukraine and Israel to care one iota about the welfare of Americans and the environment in which we live.
Kennedy fully recognizes, just as his late uncle did, that powerful billionaires hiding behind the curtain are the ones pulling the strings of tyranny, using the cover of “saving the planet” to accomplish their sinister goals.
Another stumbling block for many is the fact that, despite all this corruption, Kennedy still believes in free markets and their ability to solve most of the crises Americans currently face. The problem is that our supposedly free markets have been captured by greedy globalists who have turned them into a casino for the rich.
Kennedy fully opposes federal subsidies for carbon capture and storage, calling it a “useless and huge boondoggle to the industry.” Kennedy criticized President Biden for agreeing to include said subsidies in the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act, also known as Biden’s landmark climate law.
As long as the government also eliminates all subsidies for earth-based fuels like oil and coal, leveling the playing field, as well as enforcing existing laws such as the Clean Water Act and the Clean Air Act, the climate will resolve all on its own, Kennedy believes.
